Just wanted to say I love your work. Your use of colour in particular is fantastic and you have a good eye for design. Keep up the good work!

Dude I just discovered the whole statistics thing and figured I'd run a test to check some of my favorite artists out, and was totally shocked by the (relative) lack of page views and comments for your stuff.

Just wanted to say that you are probably my favorite artist that I discovered here and your stuff is absolutely amazing and whether you even care about that stats stuff or not, I just wanted you to know that I'm a huge fan.

And your bigconejo stuff is insane too.

I love your use of colour, and your character designs are fantastic. It's just a joy to look at! :D

But I'm a little curious. In a lot of your paintings you use only straight lines (like in your Hunters character sketches). It's really, really cool how you do it, your art has a lot of life, but I guess I was wondering... why? How did you start doing that kind of style? Did you just do it for funsies and go 'oh, that looks cool' or...?

I'm sorry, I find it fascinating how people come about making these choices in their art! :)

Thank you very much! :D
Using straight lines was quite a calculate decision. A couple of years ago when I had to defend my design degree, I decided to base my project on illustration but I had to look for a very fast and efficient style that had more in common with design than with illustration itself. And so I ended up simplifying my drawings so much that every line became straight, and photoshop has this shift+click function that lets you draw a straight line in less than a second. And so began era of angular butts and square circles!

First of all I fucking love your works. As for the straight lines style, that was actually the one that made me admire your work (aside from the wonderful color and design ofc)because when I was first learning how to do digital art I was only working with a mouse and that shift+click function was  the one I used since its impossible to draw good curves without a tablet.Anyway I really dig your style and your gallery never fail to inspire me everytime I visit.

Thank you very much!
I know right? Shift+Click is just so enjoyable, no time for stress or repetition of the same line to get curve just right, you just go and it draws itself!
